MALLAYS ON A MISSION

Hello, we're the Mallay family, medical missionaries to West Africa through ABWE. Our mission is to know Christ and to make him known by multiplying leaders, churches, and missions movements through compassion and medical ministry in Togo.

Halfway through our two-year commitment to a hospital in Togo with Samaritan's Purse, we were forced to return to the United States after finding a tumor in the abdomen of our oldest daughter, Arwen. In January of 2018, Arwen was diagnosed with stage four neuroblastoma. To read an article written by Arwen in July 2018, click here.

While we continue to seek treatment for our daughter, we have begun our pre-field ministry with ABWE and hope to return to Togo again in a couple years. We welcome you to join with us in prayer and support. You can follow our progress in missions and concerning Arwen's Journey on this site or through our facebook page.

FACEBOOK UPDATES

Feel free to follow us on facebook for updates. For those who may not use facebook, the updates should display here. Otherwise, we do periodically post on our blog, which should also display here.

HOW TO SUPPORT

MISSIONS SUPPORT

We have begun to raise support for our return to the mission field with ABWE. Currently, our projected support needs include needs for monthly donations in addition to lump donations for initial costs. Contact us if you have questions about our specific needs. For instructions on how to donate via web or mail, click here. Otherwise, click the button below to open our ABWE donation page.

ARWEN'S JOURNEY

The best way to help financially is to donate through ABWE as above. You may continue to give through our donorbox, but such donations constitute a gift to the family and are not tax-deductible.

Otherwise, you may send gifts or get-well cards to:

PRAYER

You can help by lifting our family up before the Lord. We are praying for Arwen's healing and for God's grace to have Christ-honoring testimonies despite difficulties.

Keep the mission hospital in your prayers as well - pray for the missionaries and for the Togolese and Ghanaian patients who seek help at the hospital.

Pray also that God would provide for us and that, when the time is right, we would have open doors back to the field.

But this I call to mind,
    and therefore I have hope:

The steadfast love of the

Lord never ceases;
    his mercies never come to an end;
they are new every morning;
    great is your faithfulness.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,
    “therefore I will hope in him.”
